Mapping Medieval Park Slope

2009

If Park Slope was 1000 years old, how would our city planning be different?

(I moved St. Augustine’s into the Key Food parking lot so that the church and market squares would be shared.)

I felt like European & Asian visitors got this but New Yorkers had trouble re-imagining our city with layers & layers & layers, or how these layers actually empower people to periodically intervene in their urban spaces in ways that are radical and that claim space for civic use.
